I found Osteopathy a year after being hit by a car which resulted in a head injury and some back issues. My symptoms of head and back pain progressed and plagued everything in my life. Routine medical options in allopathic medicine left me less than functional.
My first Osteopathic treatment was subtle and at the time I could not feel what my physician was doing, but I noticed changes and improvement afterwards. The treatment started me on a journey to regain my health and led me to pursue becoming an Osteopathic physician.
I've seen Osteopathy help facilitate healing of trauma, illness, managing chronic medical conditions and even speed recovery from surgery. It may not always be possible to change the underlying disease, but the associated suffering may respond to treatment. There are many aspects of healing and a holistic approach with Osteopathy can assist you towards finding your health.
