Osteopathic treatment is used to support the whole person in almost any condition to augment the natural healing mechanism already at work.  The physician recognizes and acknowledges the forces of growth and development which are always working within each individual 24hrs a day/365 years throughout their lifetime.  By doing so a patient's own healing mechanism is engaged to support the best expression of health possible at this time.  Engaging the intelligence of the body's own healing mechanism supports movement towards correcting any compensatory strains or imbalances in the body as a result of injury, stress or congenital structural abnormalities.  The goal and usual effect of an Osteopathic treatment is to ease pain and suffering.  The following are some of the medical issues that can be addressed:
